YOLO Season Ⅱ

Oct. 16, 2017

Jiangxiaobai YOLO Season 2 Music Site Macao stop unveiled along with the screaming of the fans at Macau Studio City at 11 p.m. on October 15th, 2017. The passion of the audience rose in crescendo like tide with the presence of Gai, Bridge, Jony J and Guibian and other Hip-Hop singers as well as top-level Hip-Hop bands like C-Block and Purple Soul. “It is hard to take a photo even I am so close to the stage! Everybody are so excited. There are all hands in my sight,” said aloud by an audience on the 3rd row.

The audience’s reply reflects the real picture of the site at that night. Mostly, every song became a chorus; to people’s surprise, the fans of Macao followed Gai and Bridge through Tianganwuzao and Hushanxing and other songs in Chongqing dialect without any single word missing. Moreover, the singers’ voice was completely overwhelmed by the cheers of the fans. It is commonly recognized that Macao people tend to like high-end, elegant form of art as Macao is a highly developed city instead of Hip-Hop and Rock ‘n’ Roll, low-end form of art.

The young people present on the site gave us a different answer. Everybody would went through adolescence as he or she grows up. Adolescence says no to keeping on the rails and worldly mainstream. It features rebellion, passion and indulgence. Whoever she or he may be, the people from Chinese Mainland or Macao, they all are the same. There is no word other than Hip-Hop that can cover all the features of adolescence.

We like Macao’s music as much as Macao people like Hip-Hop of Chinese Mainland. Regardless of time and money, a lot of people would like to go to the site for a feast on watching and hearing just for a Macao Music Festival.

Many Macao fans lingered around even after the show was over. They all say that one show is not enough! The Macao fans hope there will be more shows at the site of Jiangxiaobai YOLO Music in HK, Macao and Taiwan, which makes their own diversified cultures to speak to each other with a higher quality and over a shorter period of time.
