JIANGXIAOBAI Attends the DMBA 2019 | Explores the Unlimited Possibility of Baijiu Mixology

As the most authoritative and influential industry event in the domestic bar industry, the Drink Magazine Bar Awards has entered its fourth year. On the evening of December 9, the DMBA 2019 was held at Shangri-La Hotel, Jing’an District, Shanghai. The scene brought together the best bartenders from China and Asia, representatives from the bar and catering services. Bacardi, Hennessy, and Remy Martin, Chivas, JIANGXIAOBAI, Kimberly and other well-known spirit brands attended the ceremony.

From popular cocktails to professional cocktails

JIANGXIAOBAI attended the event as the only Chinese baijiu brand that evening. The producer of sorghum spirits also displayed new cocktail recipes at the exclusive bar of the cocktail dinner before the awards ceremony. JIANGXIAOBAI’s cocktail creation “HOWLER” uses JIANGXIAOBAI’s Hand-Craft Black Label as base liquor, and adds IPA beer and white wine. The London bar of the same name is famous for providing consumers with “classic cocktails”. In the webcast, relevant person in charge of JIANGXIAOBAI said when answering questions from netizens, JIANGXIAOBAI is small-qu light aroma baijiu made from sorghum as single material. The baijiu is pure and of light aroma, also making it suitable as a cocktail base liquor. From a variety of original JIANGXIAOBAI mixed drinks to popular consumers, to JIANGXIAOBAI’s special tasting activities in Chengdu and Chongqing this year, JIANGXIAOBAI’s taste has conquered discerning professional cocktail bartenders and has also developed a lot of JIANGXIAOBAI J-Mix recipes.

From bartending events to bar industry events

The Drink Magazine Bar Awards 2019 is based on the theme of “Winter Adventures”. The entire ceremony honors the bar industry bartenders, bars and service teams who provide consumers with creative flavors and wonderful experiences.

It is worth that the international bartender of the year was presented by JIANGXIAOBAI that night. The winner was Martin Hudak, a bartender from Slovakia. JIANGXIAOBAI stated that they are  “serious in exploring cocktails. At the same time, we also hope that Chinese baijiu will become the seventh largest base liquor in the world.”

At this year’s IBA World Cocktail Championships, JIANGXIAOBAI was not only one of the designated spirits of the tournament, but also the champion formula of the champion bartender Andris Reizenbergs uses JIANGXIAOBAI Hand-Craft Black Label. JIANGXIAOBAI will continue to work with well-known bars in the industry to explore the creativity and possibilities of Chinese baijiu cocktails. The DMBA 2019 is testament to that.
